SAT/SATIIs/ACT..very confused

so on the site it says you need to take the SAT and 2 subject tests OR the ACT plus writing..so if I've taken the ACT plus writing, does that mean I don't even have to take the SAT II subject tests to apply Duke?

yes that is apparently the case - however you may want to call admissions just to verify

Unless their policy has changed, that is correct. However, make sure your ACT score is as strong or stronger than your SAT I, if you took that. Otherwise, if you don't take any SAT IIs, the SAT I isn't even considered and they will only consider your ACT.

Gosh, ACT is the way to go. I should have done that instead of taking SAT four times! (first time to take one SATII, second to take two more SATIIs, third to take the SATI, fourth to take the SATI again)

Yes.. you can use the ACT instead.
