SAT schedule

There's three weeks left till I write my last SAT ever! (obvious joy)

On my last SAT I got:
CR: 700
WR: 730
M: 750

Can anyone advise me on how to pick up my score to 2300+?
Math I only make stupid mistakes on, so that's not a big concern for me, but I'm unsure how to go about improving reading and writing.

Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.

Hmm... getting more questions right would help get your score up.

wow, poseur's advice is great.

Dude, i had the same attitude and score in Math after my first SAT, and i wound up with a 740 the second time. Don't let this happen to you!! Just be careful lol

For CR, just READ A LOT! It will help more than doing questions and passages. This was the hardest for me, but i improved from like 680 to 730, so i think you can get 750+, with some effort of course

WR - i can't help you with this one. I barely studied, got a 790.

To be honest though, just be careful not to make stupid mistakes like i did. I was so close to that 2300, and i blew it on 2 math problems and 4 cr problems. Gahh.

Are you missing more in CR passages or vocab? That should tell you what to study more on. For vocab, pick up a prep book at your local store from the top "vocab lists". For passages, just do some more practice tests and really focus in on why CB believes the answer that is correct is the right answer (against the other one that you thought was correct). Also, review your correct answers also. I know that this might sound very old and obvious but it's something that really helps WHICH is why it's repeated and obvious.

Thanks a ton for the advice.

my biggest problem is the passage stuff, vocab I can figure out.
I'm going through the tests in the collegeboard book now.
Is there anything else I can to supplement this?

You could definitely go over some reading techniques in prep books like Grammatix for some guidelines. The best you can do, however, is to simply practice on the Blue Book and look over the questions you got wrong.
