SAT score and college

I just finished my freshman year and this summer I took a practice SAT test and I got a 1400. So I'm studying so hard and bought a Kaplan book, & I think it has helped me quite a bit. But I'm afraid that once junior/senior year hits and I have to take the REAL SAT and my score won't be like how I wished it would! I would like to score 2000+ because I want to go to UCLA, UCSD, & UCI.
Do you guys think my score will improve. Also, is a 1400 a bad SAT score for a freshman that never laid a hand on a SAT booklet.

Yes it will improve.

Yea. That’s obvious haha but do you think or you anyone that had improve 500-600 points? Is it possible? Especially since I’m not going to take any SAT prep. class? Also is it a decent score for a freshman?

Hey. Can you guys give me opinion and reply back! Thanks very much appreciated! :)

It will go up to your desired score (provided you put in work). As you grow as a student, as you take more math, as you read more, etc, etc, etc. your score will improve. For instance, I was not good at math up until Junior Year. I took Advanced Calc I and something clicked. Maybe it was my teacher, or that I finally understood the algebra, or maybe I just progressed as a math student. Whatever the reason, I got an A in calc for the year. I’m sure the same will be true for you in at least one area. As you naturally age, mature, and learn more, everything will start to come together more, and THAT’S when you do the prep. If you can self study at that point, you’ll really improve your score. However, keep in mind that the SAT is just a game, and like any game, it takes practice to get better.

^^^ okay that’s a relief! I’m a freshman & I already took all the math classes required for the SAT. And I was wondering why my score for math was around 550? Hopefully it will click for me as well once I “mature”. I’m still paranoid about how other freshmen my age score like a 1800-1900. Makes me feel like a loser. :P

Any more replies? Please? Lol :)
