I took the May 2010 SAT as a sophomore and scored an 1890 on the SAT (650 CR, 600 M, 640 W.) This past October, I took the PSAT and scored a 1960 (680 CR, 640 M, 640 W.) I really did very minimal to no preparing for both tests. I am a dual enrollment student at Georgia Perimeter College, a two year community college in the Atlanta area. From what I understand, UNC Chapel Hill is very good about accepting dual enrollment credits, and I hope to be admitted to UNC by means of early admission next fall/winter for this reason. I'm hoping to do well enough on the SAT to make-up for my "okay" GPA, 3.8 (more like 3.6 unweighted.)

Basically, I was wondering what sort of score I would need to be admitted into UNC or another strong school like UNC, and whether colleges do really pay attention to the rigor of high school classes taken. I went to a math and science school for my first two years of schooling and had a very difficult schedule: freshmen year: orchestra, language arts, accelerated integrated algebra II with geometry, spanish I, physics, chemistry, and engineering all gifted/honors, and sophomore year: spanish II, ap biology with engineering labs, ap world history, world literature, precalculus, and orchestra. Now, I am in only one AP class because of my involvement in dual enrollment.
