hi guys im a new member on CC. I came to join this site because i know there are some experts out here who could help me out.

So the story goes like this. It was this oct. 9th SAT that I took, which I think I performed very well. I waited until the online score report date, and guess what. The score didnt come out. I was worried, I called CB to ask what happened to my score. They basically said they dont know what happened and I should wait for another week, which I did. However, my score didnt come out again on the next week so I called CB again to make sure nothing was wrong. They confirmed that nothing was wrong and I should wait for another week, which I did. It still didnt come out. I was infuriated by it and called CB again, asking about my score. They repeated, "we dont know sorry". So i waited till today ,11-12-10, and called CB again for the last time. I demanded them to do something about this and then they transferred my call to an ETS officer. And here the story gets interesting. Out of no where, the officer says that I was accused of bubbling in the answers after the time was called for the test, which I never did. I was simply going crazy. For three weeks they didnt say anything and now here they are, saying that I cheated and I might get my score canceled. I was suppose to get a mail around Oct. 21st, which I never did. Im just so mad about CB not telling me anything ahead of time and that I'm accused of something that I never did. Furthermore, I have to write ETS a mail explaining my circumstance in order for my score not to get canceled.

So there it is. I have no idea what to say in the mail. They are accusing me of something that I never did, and what am I suppose to say? IS THERE ANYONE WHO HAS AN EXPERIENCE OF SOMETHING LIKE THIS ?
PLEASE HELP ME. I DONT KNOW WHAT TO DO...

Be honest. Did you really cheat or not? I mean it’s not like it’s a huge deal, I see a ton of kids who do it every time I take a standardized test, you just happened to suffer the consequences. Most likely, the teacher caught you doing this but didn’t tell you anything, and thus proceeded to report you.

If i did, why would I lie. Im already frustrated as is right now because im getting accused of something that I didnt do. I didnt bubble anything in after the test time was called. AND I KNOW FOR A FACT that if she suspects me of anything, I have a right to know at that moment. She cant just accuse a person of something that he/she didnt do. If I were to cheat, she shouldve stopped my test right at that moment and told me that I was cheating, which she never did.

I had the same problem of not getting my scores back. They weren’t “delayed” because I didn’t receive the message saying they were delayed. After 7 days, I contacted CB and started a complaint. Then randomly, the lady said I bubbled in two answer sheets, which I didn’t. I kept calling and she literally hung up on me several times. I finally had to have my mom call and she spent hours with them on the phone until they put up the scores. They said they had to “dig through files” or some bs. I suggest you have a parent call. CB really screwed up in October.

exactly same thing happened to me. I took the october sat and sent additional information two weeks ago. still waiting for their response:( i hope they don’t cancel my sat score since I already put early actions.

I am posting here to tell people not to afraid of ETS when you guys meet circumstances like the one above. If you did not cheat. You earn the scores. I was accused cheating in my subject test, which I did not. And I was in freaking India when I received the email from ETS in August for my June test. I cried immediately. But I get really angry second time I read that letter. I wrote this angry letter in response. My school counseler helped me calling them. And I GOT MY SCORE BACK!! CB are terrible person. Don’t be afraid and get your scores back!

This thread is two years old, buddy. I don’t think it was necessary to revive it, even if you wanted to post a moral for the rest of the readers.
