SAT Score Choice Error

I applied to a school early. I did not know if I had to send all SAT scores so i personally called the admissions office and asked. the lady said that i can choose and pick whichever scores i want to send so i did. i only sent 2 of the 3 sat 1s and 2 of the 3 sat 2s. now i got a letter that is just about the application process and setting up an account on the university's site. on the list of requiremtns it says it requires ALL scores even though they superscore.

what should i do?

For honesty’s sake, I would email the admissions and explain to them what happened. Then, send the rest of your scores. It shouldn’t be a big deal. They’ll appreciate the honesty. However, they will never know that you didn’t send them all your scores because they can’t track score choice. Nevertheless, you should probably let them know.

if the University in question REQUIRED all scores, then the collegboard.com SEND SCORES section would not have allowed you to use Score Choice. For example, Score Choice is not allowed for sending scores to any UC school, and it says so in the SEND SCORES section.

Actually it let me. For both schools that required and recommended all SAT scors the collegeboard allowed me to send only the scores I wanted (there was a pop up warning before it let me unselect any scores) even though the default was to send all scores.

It may have been that the school didn’t communicate it’s policy correctly to the collegeboard though.

That is, I didn’t actually unselect any of my scores since I’ve only taken the SAT once but I did deselect one of my subject tests just to see what it would say but I reselected it again since the school required two subject tests.
