SAT score choice

I have a 2240(800M:780W:660CR) in the SATs.

However, I am retaking in Oct.

I also took it earlier and scored a 1980: (780M:600W:600CR)

Do I send all scores if a college asks for it? Would it make me look better since I improved so much?

If the college requires all scores then you are required to send all scores. If it does not you can send what you want. Most private universities superscore, meaning take the highest subscores from multiple tests, so it should help rather than hurt. Most public universities simply use that SAT with the highest composite for admission but some of those use subscores from any test for determining placement in math or English (writing) courses so sending multiple test scores may still be to your advantage.
