My delayed scores just came out a few minutes ago in case anyone is wondering. Thank god!

@DevonKim I took it in Vietnam

@DevonKim Are you saying that I should condone cheating just because I’m Chinese and should support the immoral virtues of my country? That’s awfully unfair to a country that’s trying it’s best to be accepting of foreign students. I can’t speak for South Korea, but China is not nearly as inviting.

I won’t be applying to Harvard–my SAT scores are pretty low. I think the concept of standardized testing is pretty pointless.

hi, im an international student (not in asia, in south america), and my november scores are inexplicably delayed. i applied early decision to a college, but they havent received my scores because i selected the option to ‘send all scores when my november scores are available’. i cant seem to get a hold of anyone at collegeboard, this is driving me crazyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy! any help?

I called them about 3 times, and received my scores 3 weeks later. I am afraid your scores will not make it in time for ED.

@TheOneWhoCould I have the same problem, I’ve contacted the CB but no response until now :(. BTW, I took SAT2

Just saw this thread…I know Chinese who still hadn’t gotten back their Oct AND Nov scores. What do you guys think about Dec? Will they be delayed as well?

Assuming that smb who’s applying to colleges for regular decisions, where the deadlines are 1st Jan. If the person hadn’t taken SATs before, and is entirely dependent on his/her Oct/Nov/Dec scores, they cannot be delayed or else the person will really be disqualified without a standardized test scores.

Any idea if CB actually thought of that…or that universities adcom will do anything about it?

@DevonKim You need to calm down…

We’ve had a similar issue, state-side, waiting for my daughter’s Nov 8 SAT 2 results- We were told her tests were “lost” and they were looking for them (I actually had to make all the calls- they never returned my calls or emails, although they always assured me someone would call me right back with information). They said lost scores are so RARE and it was not typical. While waiting I contacted all of her schools she applied to so they would be aware of College Board’s situation…don’t know if it helped or not. Today her scores magically posted, with one of her tests showing a 140-point jump in score (math 2- she took a prep math course between her first and second test). With as evasive as College Board has been in not communicating with me, I suspect they were dissecting her test score rather than “looking for it”. There is very little in the way of recourse when dealing with College Board- they are extremely opaque and unresponsive- that’s a very worrisome set of qualities for a business that is in control of many students’ future! With as much garbage as I dealt with as an adult (in wasted time and effort), I can’t imagine putting students through this. Wish some news show would do an investigative piece on them.

I heard that Asia will be receiving its 3rd delay… for Dec SAT
