<p>I just got my SAT scores from Jan 27. They're pretty decent, but I was wondering if I should retake for schools such as HYPS</p>

M: 760
W: 730</p>

<p>it should be better to have a specific strong section like an 800 on one of them.</p>
<p>I don't know about HYP, but S doesn't really use SAT scores too much. your score should be ok there.</p>
<p>Of course, if you can improve your score, def retake it.</p>
<p>I think that it's fine. Many schools put more emphasis on Math+Reading scores anyway, and don't care about writing as much.</p>

I can definitely bring the math up to 800(2 stupid mistakes in Jan) and writing to about 760.</p>
