Hi everyone. I have a dilemma and am seeking suggestions. I have an ACT of 35 and my SAT scores are 2150 (CR 790, Math 700, and Writing 660) and I am not happy with the SAT scores. Unfortunately I had the SAT scores sent to the colleges (top universities) that I want to go already. What shall I do now? Retake SAT in October and what else? Thank you.

WHY would you send the SAT before you saw what you got? (Especially since its June)

If you need to take SAT Subject Tests, you might want to schedule those in as well. Other than that, I say just send in your ACT as well and hope for the best.

It depends, some colleges require SAT and SAT subject tests OR the ACT+Writing. I’m assuming you took the writing section of the ACT so you may not have to worry about SAT subject tests. In addition, there’s no reason to retake the SAT if you indeed got a 35 on the ACT. I don’t know of any college that requires both.

Thank you for your input. Sending the scores in without knowing how I do is a silly mistake on my part (do not ask me why…long story) and I am tying to figure out what I need to do now…not just hope for the best…

My ACT (35) is the writing test. And I took SAT subject in June (USH 800 and MII 770). I am aiming in U Penn and U Chicago, but am not sure whether my scores are good enough to get in. Some folks suggset me to retake SAT in October and I may just do that.

Any other insights are greatly aprpeciated.
