SAT score for ESL kid??

<p>I am an international student and english is my second language.
I took the SAT recently, and got SUCKY grades for english....
do i have no chances of getting into stanford?</p>

<p>cr: 650
writing: 640
math: 800</p>

<p>In other words, how much does stanford consider the english as a second language part for internationals???</p>

<p>your scores are not bad for international, but you should take TOFL as well.</p>

<p>I'm pretty sure that you HAVE to take the Toffel test no matter what.</p>

<p>I'm an ESL applicant, but i was born in the U.S.
Will this help me cover my low SAT verbal score (690) and Bs in honors English, or will it affect me negatively?</p>
