Is a CR 610 and W660 decent for a non-native english speaker (in an international HS) who has been in US for 4 years?

Decent enough for what?

for colleges like carnegie mellon, cooper union, cornell?

and johns hopkins?

Your CR may be a little low for some of these schools, but your writing is up to par. However, you should know that cornell and cooper union don’t care about the writing section. I also don’t know if colleges take into consideration that English is your second language, as you will be taking classes in English, not your native language, at the school.

And how about 690CR and 680W for an international who has never studied abroad or in any other language than in his first?

quite extraordinary

No. You are nevertheless living and going to an United States High school. Thus, you will be compared to people in the united states.

What about 690 CR, 730 M and 640 W? I’m Italian, I’ve always studied in Italy (just went for an exchange year to Dominican Republican, studying Spanish) and I’m thinking of applying to school such as Cornell, University of Chicago, Brown, Georgetown…Is my writing score too low?
