So I didn’t put my SAT score on the application, but I did put down my ACT score. I HAVE taken the SAT, I just didn’t put down the score on the application… Will I be penalized? I applied Early Decision so it’s too late to submit changes on the application but if I am not accepted under ED can I just submit a change for RD?

Anyone willing to chance me also? Biology major ED
CSU GPA: 3.8
ACT: 29

Should I just wait until I get the decision on ED? If I’m not accepted under ED I know I can change it for RD but if I am accepted ED I should just call them? Hopefully it doesn’t affect my acceptance. The ACT score was much better, regardless.

According to

[CSUMentor - Explore Campuses - Campus Facts - Cal Poly San Luis Obispo](<a href=“Cal State Apply | CSU”>Cal State Apply | CSU)

it says “SAT considered IF submitted, ACT recommended…”

Sooo…? Does that mean I’m fine?

As long as your ACT score is equivalent or higher than your SAT it won’t make a difference. You can search on Google for a comparison chart.

I saw on an official video for the admissions procress that they only look at your higher score between the SAT and ACT, so I don’t think it matters since your ACT was higher.

You only need to submit one or the other (ACT or SAT), so the fact that you only sent your ACT is perfectly fine.

Best of luck!
