What do you think the curve will be like for each of the sections?
Also, just for fun, you can also post a prediction of what you think you'll get :P

If my PSAT comes true:

Critical Reading = 770
Math = 730
Writing = 770

Essay = 8 or 10. I filled both pages and did five paragraphs with intro/conclusion but it wasn’t exactly riveting.

CR: 790
Math: 760
Writing: 750

6 or 7 on the essay…don’t think it was all that good

CR: 600
Math: 700
Writing: 700
6-8 on essay. It wasn’t terrible but I had a few lines still at the end of the 2 pages.

I’m just praying for 700+ in Math. As of right now I know I have 2 omitted and 2 wrong. 1 of the wrong answers was a student induced response though.

CR: 750
M: 750
W: 760

Hope it is better than this, though!

Right now I think I got 1 wrong in writing and 1 grid-in wrong in math. I think I did well enough on my essay though. Maybe a 2300+?

CR: 740
Writing: 730
Math: 740: I am not aware of any questions that I got wrong, but I had a mini panic attack during one of the sections.

What would a 10 essay with 1 or 2 wrong on writing be usually?

^760-800 ish

CR- 700-750
M- 700-740
W- 700-730

Shooting for a 2200 superscored.

CR- 800? maybe, so far I’m down 1 vocab, i probably got more than that wrong, so realistically 770
M- 740… got the p*sqrt(q) one wrong, maybe others but we’ll see how the curve works
W- 800 Definitely. I wrote a fair 10 essay and barring unforeseen failure, 1-2 wrong tops

2310 would be just about where I want to be, 2340 would be ever so nice. We’ll see.

CR: 800
Math: 770
Writing: 720

CR: 800, I got all of the tricky vocabs so I think I’m safe here.
Math: 770? 1 grid-in wrong but theoretically everything else right. Depends on the curve really.
Writing: 800? Possibly 1 MCQ wrong but I think my essay was a solid 10+. Again might depend on the curve.

what would 9 on the essay and -2 MC be?

@etisawesomez It would depend on the curve, probably mid 700s

Sadly I think it will be close to my PSAT (so around 600 on each section/1800 total). Not sure about the essay, I finished it, but had to cut my second body paragraph short because I heard the five minute warning and wanted 2-3 minutes to write a conclusion.

CR: 760-800 -1 for sure, may be -2 to 3 for other questions i haven’t checked yet for cold war passage, more than -3 unlikely though
Writing: 750-800 -1 for sure, did not check other questions but they seemed easy, at least 10 essay (if they can read my essay lol)
Math: 800, checked all the hard and medium problems

Above 2340 (latest practice test) and I would be ecstatic. Above 2300 and I would still be very happy. 2400 and I would be the happiest man on earth.

If you look at these released SAT curves for CR, -3 was >= 770 for even the easiest tests. I would rate math as intermediate (certainly harder than December’s), reading as intermediate, and writing as easy. I think that -2 will give an 800 for CR, and 780-790 as -1 for Math.

Those are just my predictions though. What do you guys think that I will get with a -4 in CR, -2 in Math, -0 on Writing with a 10 essay (I already included right - wrong)?

CR: 770-800. Felt confident but could’ve easily made a small mistake.
Maths: 770-800. Once again feel confident with my answers.
Writing: 740-780. I didn’t hear the lady say ‘start’, and thus I only realised that everyone had started 2 minutes in. Still finished my essay and I think I’ll get a 10, but I had to rush and thought I could’ve done better. Felt confident with multiple choice except for one question that I know for sure is wrong, because I was using Australian English as opposed to American. I’ve sent a complaint to the collegeboard but I’m not sure how fruitful that will be. Does anyone here know if we are expected to use American English in the SAT writing?

Overall I’d be happy with 2300+, I doubt I’ll get a perfect score because of my writing section, but I’m confident that I will get a good score.

Does anyone know which math grid-in section was experimental (or the grid-in that counted)?
