SAT score question

Hi, i'm having a panic attack and need a question answered, please...
i took the SATs in june and got a 2240 (cr 720, m 720, w 800) but i knew i could do better since i was extremely nervous and hyperventilating so i signed up to take them again in oct.
however, i didnt have ANY time at all to study and i hadnt even looked at anything SAT-related since june and on the oct test i got a lower score of 2180 (cr 700, m 680, w 800).
princeton says they look at only the highest scores from each section, but i'm paranoid that since they pretty much make you send all of your scores that they really look at everything.
is the lower test decreasing my chances of getting in princeton or anywhere else AT ALL?
or are they really only gonna look at my first test since that's the highest score?
Thank in advance.

Your scores are great (unless your are Asian)

Princeton welcomes score choice. I dunno where you get this idea that Princeton forces student to send all scores.

Even if you do send all score, Princeton superscores (taking the highest score from each section across all test dates)

Gasp! Princeton superscores? Wow, that’s good to know.
