Is it still possible to get into ND with SAT subject score in the low 500's? I know the average is 600+ But that is the average. Some get lower some higher I assume?? I just don't test well...

I’m sorry to tell you this, but ND is BIG on test scores, probably bigger than almost every top university. You will not get into ND with low 500s. You wouldn’t even get in with low 600s unless you’re a recruited athlete.

^just don’t report it - I was told that with SAT ** SUBJECT ** are just bonuses and don’t count against you, but I do think low 500s would hurt you but anything in the 600s would just be ignored.

If you can don’t report them.

What do you mean dont report them? I thought ND must look at SAT scores?

Are you referring to the SAT Subject Score or the SAT Section Score?? – also I thought there was a way to only report what you wanted to to a particular college. So if there is any way that you get rid of that score, I would or if you can just report everything else but that score I would do that as well – you don’t want that score heading to ND – it might not be an automatic rejection but you have to be stellar everywhere else.

SAT has score choice. If the low score is on a subject test (SAT II such as physics), then you can opt not to send it. If it is on a section (e.g. math, reading) then you can only opt to send the entire results of that sitting or not send it at all. ND will take your high scores on various sections from different sittings though. But you MUST opt for score choice or the College Board will send all your scores. ND does not require SAT subject tests, but we were told good scores can enhance your application. There is no reason to send bad subject test scores.

It is possible I got into ND with SAT II scores ranging from 500 to 600 the only thing is that it will make the rest of your application weight a bit more heavily

^^ i simply would not report these. you have the option to report these scores or not report the SAT II scores so I would just not show them.
