SAT Score Questions

Hey all, these are my SAT scores:

Jan 2011 SAT: 540 CR, 670 M, 750 W 1960
March 2011 SAT: 650 CR, 700 M, 680 W 2030
June 2011 SAT: 640 CR, 710 M, 730 W 2080

Superscored: 2110

My questions are:
1) Would colleges that require all SAT scores to be sent to the admissions office look down upon the time I got a 540 in January even though I improved by more than 100 points the next time? I only want to send my Jan score because I got a high writing score on it.
2) Are these scores considered competitive for say; UPenn Wharton, NYU Stern, and other top business schools (ie. Best Undergraduate Business Programs | Rankings | US News)

Definitely not too competitive for Wharton, you want at least a 2200, or a solid 700+ in each section. Not too bad for NYU stern.

UPenn requires you to send all scores, so you do not have an option. For NYU you can use score choice. However, both superscore SATs so sending all is to your advantage. If they are to be believed, sending the 540 CR will not be considered against you. Score is good for NYU, somewhat weak for Penn (even your highest CR score is below Penn’s middle 50% range for CR scores).

Google "average sat scores for ________ " each of your schools & you will find their 25th to 75th percentile of admitted students. This will tell you how your scores stack up.

They will focus on your highest score for each section. Taking the SAT three times is okay - more than that can be a turn-off for some Adcomm folks. 2110 is not bad.
