<p>K i have a bit(well maybe not) of a problem.Im confused with my SAT scores.Im taking my first SAT november first and so far on my prep practice tests ive been getting 600-650 on math and 600-750 on writing.But my critical reading scores suck.The highest ive got so far was 550.Im aming at colleges like Columbia,Cornell,Duke,NYU and do you think i still have any chances of getting accepted at those colleges if my math and writing scores will be 600+ and my critical reading will be 550?</p>
<p>PS ive been taking prep courses for over 5 month and my critical reading didnt change that much(went from 480 to 550).
And i know you guys get questions like this one all the time but please tell me what my chances are and maybe some kind of advice how can I improve reading section(vocabulary part im doing quite well).</p>
