On the common app score section for the SAT it says to report how many times you have already taken the SAT. I already took the SAT twice: one in 2012 Dec and 2013 June. I dont want to report the Dec sat as the score was very bad. So can i just say i only took the SAT once and just report the June one(my best one) as long as i dont report the dec one(my worst one). Also i can indicate that i will take the oct sat, right?

Simply put, no you cannot. You can not report the exact score, but you have to say you took it twice.

But if i state that ive taken the SAT twice and only report one sat score, wouldnt that be considered lying?

Bumpppppppp

If the school allows score choice, that would not be lying. However, it would be lying if you say you took the SAT once when you actually took it twice. If the school wants all scores, then you should send both. Many schools do superscore, so your December SAT might not be that bad.

I think OP is more referring to the question that asks directly how many times you’ve taken the test. If the school allows you to use score choice, you can choose to just report that one, but you still have to put as the answer to the question that you’ve taken it twice.
