SAT Score Sending

Just a quick question...When you send your SAT score report to a school in the regular, online way (not rushed), how long does it take to get to the school? It says 1-2 weeks, but I've heard somewhere that the college board just sends the scores in bulk every once in a while (e.g, if they plan to send students' scores on 10/31, requests to send scores from the last send date through 10/31 are sent).

Or I may just be hallucinating. Any ideas? :)

Help please??? Sorry to be impatient.

They send when they have a scheduled send to the college which can be every week, every other week, or even longer depending on college.

If your concern is that you are sending scores for an EA or ED application that is due November 1 and wonder if it will be there on time then have no concern. All EA and ED colleges with Nov 1 deadline accept test scores, through the October test date, which arrive after Nov 1. (Many even take November test scores for EA and ED at least for SAT IIs.) Just be sure to order scores sent as soon as you have them if you are relying on the October test.

Thanks so much! But what if all the scores you're sending are from really old tests (November of last year, May of this year)?
