I have applied Early Action to Ohio State, UW-Madison, and Tulane University but I just requested SAT scores sends on 10/28. I checked my College Board account today and it says that they’ve been fulfilled. I know that colleges take time to actually receive them but since the score is in the college’s account, could my score not be received in time for Early Action?
With Tulane you have no issue since it’s EA app deadline is Nov 15. Also, Wisconsin, though it encourages that you complete testing by September, will actually take Oct tests even if they arrive somewhat past the Nov 1 app deadline so you should be fine there also.
OSU requires scores by the app deadline but you should also be fine for it. If CB says the scores have been sent, that means they have been placed into the college’s account with CB. That should be sufficient to determine delivery, but even if there is a question on that issue, you should be fine because OSU say it gets its scores daily from CB.
If you still have any continuing concern, consider emailing the admissions offices a copy of your test scores, letting them know official scores have been ordered.
I think online college portals will give a status of the application requirements, so if test scores are checked, you’re fine. Even if you’re not, you can definitely call email as suggested above or call if it’s time sensitive.
@dsruba should he scan his actual ACT score sheet and send that?
Sorry, I meant to tag @drusba . Should he scan his actual ACT score sheet and send that?
Yes, it would be fine to email a pdf copy of the score sheet.
