SAT score: some opinions

I took SAT on June 3 and got back a 2170 today: 780 in writing, 740 in critical reading and 650 in mathematics. Is my 650 bad enough to take SAT a second time? I sort of wish I didn't have to. I know my Math is very good, I do calculus and all and I am going to be taking an AP calculus as well. If I do well in the Math Subject SAT and AP Calculus... will that make up for 650? (It was top 85 US national percentile). Please be frank with me.

Depends where you want to apply. I would retake it if I were you.

It's definitely not up to par with your english scores; I would retake it if you want colleges to think you're good at math. You might seem unbalanced right now. Also, bumping it up a hundred points or so would raise your total a lot. You definitely sound smart enough to pull something well into the 700s, I would take it again.

Thanks I think I will retake it, it's best to solidify my chances

Thanks yeah I guess that makes most sense... especially when I can.

I'm slightly confused with my score, I got an 11 on my essay, but only a 630 total. How do the multiple choice play into that, I guess i missed a bunch and that just brought down my score a lot

The sat assessment report should be available by July 1. Then you'll be able to see exactly what you did right and wrong.

Take my english tests and I'll take your math. Lol yeah it depends where you want to apply really, but I would retake that

can someone look at my threead plz?...i really want to kno the answer to my ques.
