I took the October 3rd SAT and my initial thoughts were that my test administration went fine. I checked my scores on October 22nd, and I was alarmed to see the message “not yet available” where my scores should have been. Thinking it was just a volume issue and it would clear up in a few days, I checked two days later, and “not yet available” was still displayed ". My parents have called CollegeBoard multiple times, but all we can get out of the representatives is my score is in the “exception process”. Because of this, I began to think back to my test administration. There was a small incident with the timing of my test, but I wrote it off because it was so insignificant. In one of the later sections, we were supposed to have 25 minutes to complete a test, but we were initially only given 20 minutes. 30 seconds after the proctor called time, a student in my room asked if we should have 5 more minutes, and the proctor gave us our five minutes. Could this be the reason? I received a letter from CollegeBoard regarding an “issue with my administration” but the letter said they found it wasn’t an issue and could score my test. This was a week ago, and I still have no scores. Are there any other reasons that my score could be in the “exception process”?
Im in the same spot as you. I took the sat on October 3rd and my score is still not out. I was running out of patience yesterday when I called the collegeboard and they said my scores were delayed because of my score improvement. Well the last time I took it was 2 years ago and improvement was of course expected. I mean it wasn’t as if I improved drastically through a short period of time. They actually told me I had to wait for another 3 or 4 weeks :((
Wow I’ll be so upset if I have to wait that long! The thing is this was my first time taking the test. I’ve taken the PSAT but my scores were pretty good on that so I don’t think I’d get flagged. I’m just having such a nightmare with collegeboard. Other people I know with scoring issues have been able to get some information out of them, but they won’t tell me what my exception is related to. It’s just aggravating because I need to know if I need to take the December SAT while my prep class is still fresh in my memory. ~X(
Oh god me too !! The december sat registration due is on 5th of november and actually i was going to decide whether i would take them again or not based on my oct score. Collegeboard is really getting on my nerves. I hope we get our scores soon
