SAT Score submission question

I took the SAT's in May of 2010. I did not do well and wanted to do much better so I retook them on October 9th. I want to apply early action to St. John's and George Mason. They are not on the commonapp so I have to do it by paper which means I will not have the October scores in time to sent to them. Can I still submit my application to these schools by the Nov 1st deadline and just sent my SAT scores to the college when I get the October ones back? Or is this not allowed and they want everything together? Thank you.

Can anyone help me?

You don’t have to send everything together and can send application before test scores and vice versa. When you say by “paper,” those colleges have and recommend on-line applying which you can do at their sites. What St. John’s are you referring to? The two I know, St, John’s University in New York and St. John’s College in Maryland (and New Mexico) do not have early ection. They have rolling admissions which means you will get a response a few weeks after you have submitted a completed (everything in ocluding test scores, transcript etc) application regardless of when you apply. Also, St. John’s College does not require test scores and says if you submit them they will be given little weight. George Mason accepts Oct scores for EA but make sure you order them sent by college Board immediately after they are released.

Yes, I did notice that about St John’s University (NYC). I will just wait for the scored to be released and send them to the school because it has not deadline: only rolling admission. Thank you for the information about Mason. I did complete both applications online. I meant ‘paper’ on the sense that it was not on the commonapp. Sorry. So once the scores are released I will have them sent from collegeboard to Mason. I just wasn’t sure if I could apply EA without my SAT scores reported. Thank you for clarifying this up for me.
