SAT score suggestion/help

I read this somewhere on this forum:

"First, Harvard was one of the schools where I was educated. For a Harvard applicant, 2160 sounds terrible probably"

Is this true because my score is V 700 M710 W750 E12? Is this too low of a score. Should i retake a third time? (The first time i skipped a section; second time, there was a harder curve....3 questions wrong and a 710 on math :( )

Thank You

Nope work on your essays

Was the second time in June? Because my math went down 40 pts from Jan to Jun :(

I wouldnt retake (In fact I'm not). A 2160 isnt exeptional, but I dont think it's "terrible"

(btw, I have a 690CR, 760M, 710W) Definitely wish CR was 10 pts higher, but i dont think one sub-700 score will sink me (hopefully).

yes it was in june.....very hard curve.

I got a CR 560, Math 590, and Writing 520 in my eighth grade year when I took it for John Hopkins's CTY. I have yet to take it for real. Does my score suck for an eighth-grader. I was just wondering.

yes you are an idiot for getting all 500+ as an eigth grader. YOu fail at life for not acing a test designed for high school students

I was kind of serious...

You can't expect someone to answer seriously because there are no official standards for what an 8th grader should get on the SAT because its a high school test. Personally, I think your scores are fine for an 8th grader. Not noteworthy, but not bad. I'd say slightly above average for the average eighth grader. In time, you'll gain more skills for all three sections.
