SAT score too high?

I took the SAT for the first time on october 5th and got a 2360. I honestly did not expect a score as high as that, and I feel like I may have just gotten lucky. I've heard that some colleges like it better if you send both your SAT and ACT scores - is this true? If so, I'm worried that my ACT score won't be as good. Should I spend the time to study for the ACT and take it or just stick with my SAT score?

Most people take both to see which is higher. Take a breath. You never have to take a college entrance exam again, your scores are great!

no, don’t take the ACT. Celebrate your great SAT!

AGREE! your score is great. don’t even bother with the ACT

maybe focus on SAT II now

I think you need at least 2 in the subject you plan on going into

Congratulations on an excellent score. There is no such thing as luck in the SAT (unless you were lucky that your proctor went to sleep and you had an hour extra time). You can always not send the ACT scores if you don’t like them. Do concentrate on the SAT IIs.

CELEBRATE!!!
Focus on SAT II NOW!

Take the money and run! No need for the ACT.

With a 2360, don’t even bother with the ACT.

Congratulations on your score!

LOL people complain about low SAT scores, and you’re complaining about them being too high. Embrace it. You deserve it. No need to take ACTs.
