Hello there! I'm registered to take the SAT Reasoning Test on December 1 and this will be my second time taking it. I reviewed my score report list and I saw that all my scores were going to be sent to the colleges I chose. This was written down as their practice, " ____ has indicated that it considers all SAT scores in its review process and requires that you submit all SAT scores from all test dates." I was wondering since I'm able to opt out of sending all my scores and possibly just choosing my upcoming test scores, would it in any way affect me or my chances of getting into the university? Would the universities I'm applying for find out that I'm not releasing my other scores and therefore not following their practice? Please help. Thanks!

If it is only your second time taking it, I don’t think it would really matter so why do that? I’d recommend not doing it, but that’s just me. You never know if you’ll do better, you could possibly do worse and then regret it. Most schools take the highest score from each section anyway, so why risk it?

Hmm, when you put it that way, that’s a logical idea. I was just stressing over how low I scored and I wasn’t too sure if it would actually affect my chances of being accepted. Thanks!
