SAT Score Voluntary Database

I just created a page where you can enter your score in where the entire list will be analyzed automatically after a new entry and list all scores:

http://www.allcyberspace.com/sat/satscoreanalysis.php

I'll have the statistics and data list page up in a few minutes.

neat
i submitted mine

it'd be neat if you could include functions like averages and percentiles later on

http://www.allcyberspace.com/sat/viewsatscorelist.php?page=1

The link you have on your site to the current database is mislinked.

I know. There's bound to be some errors now. It will display all scores entered right now. Stats in another few minutes.

Math Score Mean
80022.857142857143

I'm having some troubles with the Array returned right now and getting the sum of the array.

The Math, CR, and Writing means are available. Other things will be added as soon as possible.

Hey, just alittle thing that would make it cool (you dont have to do it), add a total score column and have different sort buttons at the bottom for the 3 categories, then people can compare the three in sorted order.

I think that'll make it better, good job tho!

:)

Cool idea, I entered mine.

But there's bound to be fakes. We'll find out all the real info on the 16th.

curve seems to be...
m- 800,790,760,740,720,710
v- 800,770,750,740,720,700,690

though im the only one with 710 on math, anyone else get that?

No, I kno somebody that got a 710 math.

Mean and median statistics are now working.

Hey, this is pretty cool. Is CC the only place you've posted this? Because I highly doubt a median score of 2190 is even remotely indicative of the general population :/

Also I find it interesting that the essay scores were actually pretty high, with the mean and median both around 10. Even the minimum, after quite a few samples, is only 7. This seems to show that, as long as you tried and didn't come out like a total buffoon, you got at least a decent score on the essay...hmm...

Does the essay score itself follow a bell curve? Are there as many 0's as there were 12's?

I dont think it possible for the Essay to also follow the bell curve cause you cant tell the graders to, like, give x many people a 4, y many people a 5, etc.
I expect it to be that you get what you get.
