SAT score vs. ACT score

I know this question has been asked numerous times and I'm pretty certain of the answer but nonetheless I'll ask it for some sort of reassurance.
On my SAT I received a 2180 (M:800 CR:730 W:650), I took two SAT IIs (Math IIc:800 Chemistry:800), so my SAT score will have to be seen by most colleges. On my ACT I received a 36 (M:35 S:36 R:36 E:35). Obviously my ACT score is much better than my SAT score and had I not taken the SAT I'd have perfects all around. Well unfortunately I took the SAT and did not do as well as I would have hoped. I plan on applying to HYPS (not H or P since I don't want to take a third SAT II) and similar schools. The 36 is obviously in their test score range but the 2180 is perhaps a little low, how will admissions view this discrepancy if at all? I was under the impression they would simply look at the 36 and disregard the 2180. Thanks for your comments.

EDIT: Also should I consider taking the SAT again, I assume I could improve the score but not by much and I don't want studying for the SAT to distract me from college apps. And one more thing....will it be slightly to my advantage that my CR + M on the SAT is a 1530 which is relatively a much better score than a 2180?

They look at your highest scores, and a 2180 is not low enough to make a difference even if they see that; they will notice your 36 ACT and your SATIIs anyway...

I think your perfect SAT II's and ACT will hold you up well, but I'd still recommend retaking the SAT I to get at least a 2200. You shouldn't have a problem getting that little bit of an increase, and it could mean all the difference later on.
