SAT score

They say:*"You must be sure to request that your scores be reported directly to Columbia every time you take a standardized test." Columbia reserves the right not to evaluate a candidate whose scores are not reported directly by the testing agency.

So I can't send all of my scores at one time
Also if I am taking October test and Ed, do I have to send the test score before submitting the application? so that I can change my info on test statistics?
Does it matter if I submit the common app earlier or later?

Tks!

1) yes you can send them all at the same time. When you send them you can choose to include certain dates of SAT testing as well as various SAT IIs.
2) if you take October and intend on applying ED you should indicate on the test that you want the scores to be sent to Columbia on test day. Otherwise you can probably send them normally.

On the common app you indicate the dates of your SAT so if it’s in the future/the scores are not out yet they will understand.

The ED app isn’t due till November 1st and by then the results of the October SAT will have come out already, right? I don’t think there’s a need to indicate future scores in that case.

Some people complete their app early and want to submit it and get it over with. To each his own.

Cos I am thinking that maybe submitting the common app earlier than deadline would show my sincerity? lol

I really don’t think it matters xD my friend submitted several weeks early and was rejected, I submitted one day early and was accepted. Anecdotal but timing doesn’t matter as long as its before deadline.
