I just got my March SAT score back
CR: 630
Math: 670
Writing: 630

I'm extremely upset with this score because I practiced a lot and took several Blue Book tests, at least 7, and I was consistently getting 2100+, even 2200+ about twice. For the math sections in each test, I was getting 800's, or at least 750+. And my CR was always 700 or 700+. So, can someone explain why I did so bad on this SAT? I took a PR class as well, and I scored above 2100+ on my latest diagnostic test. Any advice for preparing for my next SAT, in June?

My DD also scored 250 points below her practice score in the first SAT. You know taking the practice test at home and taking the real test at a center are very different. Very likely, you are not taking the practice test at the same time of day for a real test either. I bet you won’t wake on at 7am and take a practice test an hour later. The good thing is that you know you can do better. Unlike PSAT, you have more chances to improve your score in SAT. Just keep up the practices. Try books from different publishers too although BB has some real test in it.
