If I got an 1840 on the SAT in 8th grade, is it possible to get a 2350+ when I take it in 11th or 12th grade if I continue to study and read and learn vocab?

I got like a 1200 (out of 2400) in 8th grade and have a 2180 in 11th and will probably be a little higher once I get june scores back so yes its more than possible.

At the expense of sounding cheesy, yes, anything is possible! I took the SAT for Duke TIP in 7th and got an 1810. During my junior year, I really began to focus on studying specifically for the test, and I was fortunate enough to get a 2400 during the December sitting. Just be sure to start preparing ahead of time, and don’t assume that those test scores will come to you automatically!

if you study very hard it’s definitely possible. how you scored in 8th grade is not much of an indication of how you will do 3+ years later. just work really hard and you have a good chance at it.

wow thanks for the encouragement. I know that it’s possible, I just wanted “living proof”.

I got a 1750 in 7th grade, 1800-ish 8th grade. I didn’t touch the SAT until this May (11th grade). I got a 2380 (1 question wrong on writing :*( ) !!! So yes, it is possible.
