SAT Score

@StanfordScience
The SAT was not created with the expectation that numerous test-preparation institutes will be created. They cover a certain material which can be learnt. These things are merely a way to make money and in no way required to be successful. As for you friend, you said he developed their mathematics skills - not their test-taking skills.

Wannabefeynman, did you ever do the ACT?

@StanfordScience‌
Yes, I did.

How did you do on that compared to the SAT?

@StanfordScience‌
I received a 36 on the ACT Mathematics test.

I mean overall, how much better did you do on SAT vs ACT or vice versa?

@StanfordScience‌
I did more or less the same. The reason being that I had attained extensive knowledge over the subject at hand, not test-taking strategies. If you know the material, there is no need for guessing, doing the hard questions first etc.

How about your ACT science score? That is the part does not really depends on knowledge but analytical technique. Again, that is only about you and you cannot generalize for others. When you have no room for improvement, there is nothing you need to do. Most students got higher scores after practice. You just do not have that experience.

I received a 35 some time back and then retook it and received a 36.
