SAT score

I just took the SAT in Nov and my score was 1680. I'm in 10th grade. I'm trying to get into North Carolina School of Math and Science and wanna go to Columbia. Is this a fairly good score?

idk? i got like an 1860 in 8th grade? but one of my friends has like a 19something, and hes a senior now. idk whats good any more.

Nah, you’re fine, you’re a sophmore, please enjoy your youth while you still can!

lol, your SATs are suprisingly similar to aigiqnif’s so you’re good to go :D

Im tryin to but college is already making me feel stressful. In critical reading i got an 85% Math … i did horrible 48% (those trick questions) and like 55% in writing

Oh sorry unrelated… but after AP chem what is the usual science sequence. if i continue to go to regular public school idk what classes to take next. kids normally take it in junior or senior year.

dont worry about the 48% in math, some of the stuff you might not have been taught yet, no big deal. do you like science? if you do, take more AP science. if you do not, take something else. generally science at my school goes bio, chem, physics, idk what youve already taken

i just took honors bio previously but i really like chemistry. physical science was boring in 6th grade so idk about physics

if you wanna do chem DO IT TO IT! but i think physics might be an inevitable course, i have it next semester with the teacher that runs veg club, so it promises to be fun. but is physical science the same thing as physics? hon physics is pretty intense…i dont think it has much to do with w.e was in 6th grade

im taking AP Chem now and i have a 94 but idk about the AP chem exam because other than AP world history ( which im taking now), this is my first AP exam.

youll do fine, go get em tiger!

You’re going to need to pull that well over a 2000 for Columbia.
