I don't know if this is a stupid question but I honestly do NOT know.

I want to send in my college application early with a first and second SAT score and then send in a third SAT score and 2 SAT subject tests scores later on (still before the deadline). Will they look at my application with the third SAT and the subject tests too or will they just look at my first and second since I had those in at the time I sent in my application? Should I wait until I have my third SAT and my subject tests? (I would really like to send my application earlier however, for early action, but I need them to look at my third SAT).

I would really like advice/answers to this question. Thank you very much!

My understanding is that colleges do not decide upon early action applications until after the deadline. This being so, they would look at all the scores they have received at that point.

But I don't see the advantage of sending in two score reports or applying earlier than the EA deadline.

The reason I would have to send in my third SAT score later on is because it is only available to take in October and because I'm taking my SAT in October, I will have to take my Subject Tests in November. Therefore, I would have to send in my scores at a different time. Should I just wait until the regular deadline?

If the college you are applying to has rolling admissions (it sends out decisions to admit as applications are received) and does not require SAT II's then likely it will make a decision before it even receives those additional test scores if your app is otherwise complete (high school transcript and other necessaries already sent). Note, there are no rolling admissions colleges that I am aware of that require SAT II's.

If your college is regular admissions, in that it does not send out decisions until sometime between Feb and April, then they will not even evaluate your file until after the application deadline and you have gotten all those scores in and will consider the highest SAT (depending on college, either for one sitting or by taking highest subscores from your multiple tests), and those SAT II scores. Moreover, if the college requires SAT II's, your application will not be deemed complete and ready for review until those are in the file.

Yeah I realize that now. I think it would much more beneficial to me if I just applied by regular deadline. It will give me time to be more organized and raise my scores more. I am just concerned that if I don't apply early action, I wouldn't have as good of a chance as I would if I had applied earlier.

Whether the Nov scores can apply to ED/EA depends on the school since most that have a Nov 1 application deadline for ED or EA accept SAT II test scores from the November test date for EA and ED.

How do you know "most" schools do? I just checked three -- two required all materials to be on their way by November 1, one stated the Nov test was acceptable but the results have to be rushed to them (so presumably you couldn't know what you scored before ordering the score report, given the timing [I think] -- this would make me nervous, particularly if I hadn't taken any SAT IIs before, but that's me.) Frankly, I'm surprised at the the latter -- schools have such a short time frame for decision.

But that shows one benefit of CC -- we learn things!

I am curious, again, how you know that "most" schools do accept the SAT IIs from November? Do you have this from an authoritative source or is it the result of sampling a few schools, such as I did? Maybe you sampled more than I did :)

But clearly, what is important is what the particular schools a particular applicant is interested in and what they say.

I know because I previously gathered such info either from web-sites or from contacting the school. There are 44 colleges in the US that require SAT II's for admission (and a number of those take the ACT in lieu of both the SAT and SAT II's). Ten of those, including all nine UC's, have no early program (the other is Olin). At least the following 22 accept the Nov SAT II test scores for their early programs:
