SAT Scores and potential schools

my SAT scores: 740 CR 720 M 680 W (8 on the essay)

Are these scores good enough for my potential schools?

Univ. of Southern Cal
Univ. of Alabama
Univ. of Texas - Austin
Univ. of Arizona
Auburn Univ.
Arizona State
Texas A&M
Texas Tech

Yes. Maybe retake for Univ of Texas - Austin

Your scores are good. A 2140 is a good score. However, you may want to retake it for a better chance at USC. A 2200+ looks really good. But in the end, it’s up to you. Good luck.

The OP is well above the 75th percentile of that school in every subject. If a retake was in order, it would be for USC. However, the scores are excellent.

Your scores are excellent for most of those schools. The only school, as others have said, that would possibly warrant a retake is USC since their average SAT scores are around 2200.

I don’t believe you need to retake. The only school you cut it close on is USC. I actually go there now and it seems like every incoming class gets higher and higher SAT scores (although I did score 2400).

Here are the average SAT scores for the schools you are consdering:

Univ. of Southern Cal - 2130
Univ. of Alabama - 1680
Univ. of Texas - Austin - 1840
Univ. of Arizona - ?
Auburn Univ. - 1750
Arizona State - ?
Texas A&M - 1780
Texas Tech - ?

can some one please help me with this… no one repliess :frowning:
