Hi everybody,
When I was filling the ‘Testing section’ on common app, there was a question about self-reporting scores…but I am confused, I mean is it necessary to self-report when official reports would be sent? What is the purpose of self-reporting?
And when official reports are send does college board send report of all the SAT you have taken or just the one you want to send? I mean do colleges know how many times I have taken it and how much scores I have gotten in it ?
Thank you
Technically, self-reporting is useless because schools care about the official report. So it doesn’t REALLY matter.
For your 2nd question, some schools require that you send them all your scores whereas others don’t. So check out their requirements. But College Board will only send the ones you want. Hope this helps
@Sparkles124 thanks for answer
BTW are u self-reporting ?
No I can’t because I’ll get most of my scores after the application deadline…
Yeah me too so I guess i wont report then
