<p>Just in case you thought your 2190 wasn't good enough, apparently the trend is downward, not upward.</p>
<p>Well after re-scaling the SAT the scores were a bit inflated. Even now, compared to 30 years ago a 1400 means different things. You cant compare (as this article does) scores from the 70's and scores now. I think back then it was harder to get above a 600 but easier to get a 500 whereas now its easier to get a 600. 1500 is the new 1400 and the reason why avgs are down is b/c back then like half the people who took the SAT got from 500-600.</p>
