Will my chances decrease..had
780 SAT math II
760 Physics
800 Chemistry
but 510 Reading
580 Writing
730 Math
Will these land me a Dartmouth admission ...chance me..

It’s impossible to chance you based on SAT scores alone. But I can say with certainty is that your reading and writing scores will definitely hurt you. Are you an international student? If so, admissions officers are usually more lenient when it comes to CR and writing scores. Also, Dartmouth accepts January scores so if there’s even a chance that you might increase your scores you should take it one more time. It’s unlikely that you’ll reach the 700s, which would be ideal, so I’d shoot for 600s because anything in the 500s pretty much kills your chances unless you’ve won a prestigious international competition or your family can donate a few buildings.

Thanks …

Depending on what you want to study, I would be applying to techy schools such as CMU and Rensselaer that might be more willing to overlook the CR and W weakness and appreciate the high science & math scores.
