I took the SAT for the first time on June 6, and for some reason my scores were delayed. I was told that someone was investigating why my scores are unavailable, but I have still not received an answer. Today I logged on to my College Board account, just in case something was updated. I saw a new pop-up on the page that should have my scores listed, which includes the status of my test. Under status it now says "makeup". I am very concerned that I'll have to retake the SAT, and can't understand why a make up test would even be necessary. I have called the person who is investigating my test, and she didn't answer, so I called the College Board's SAT Services Department. I got vague answers from the College Board, and basically all I learned is that the make up test isn't mandatory. Does anybody know what the make up status means, or have you had a similar problem?

No I have not heard of this before, but they can be sensitive to potential fraud/cheating and that holds up exam scores if they have reason to be suspicious. It could also be a case of “the dog ate your test” or some obscure snafu on their part.Try to reach them again tomorrow. There has to be someone who can give an official update on your particular situation.

I’m running into the same problem with my October subject test… I emailed them and is waiting for feedback. Could you tell me about what happened afterwards for you?
