Hey everyone,
I just took the SAT for the second time and got this score:
2270
M- 690
CR -800
W-780
The first time I took the SAT I got a 2170 with
M-700
W-770
CR-700
Is this good enough for Wharton or should I retake?
Thank you!

It really depends on how you do on either the math 1 or math 2 subject test. If you can get 750+ on math 2, then you should be fine. Otherwise, I’d retake it and try to pull up your math score.
@WhartonPenn2017 Thanks! Are you at UPenn atm?
If you don’t mind me asking, how are you preparing for the SAT Math section? I’m only asking as I was in the same boat as you (high CR and W scores but a ~700-ish Math score, followed by an 800 on Math II and a 2400 SAT score).
Otherwise, if you do well on the Math II examination you would be a much better position. It would be a good idea to work on raising your Math score, however.
Average score at Wharton (CR+M) was 1466 last year.
You did better than that. I’d concentrate on my subject tests and essay. You did great.
@Wharton2016 Yes, I just completed my sophomore year.
@Tiberium Wow that’s amazing! Umm honestly I have no idea what happened on the math section when I took the SAT for the second time. I walked out feeling pretty confident and it turned out pretty terribly so… I just did a ton of practise questions from the SAT blue book, princeton review, and Kaplan.
I’m taking the SAT subject tests (Math II and French, maybe German) in June and preparing for a 750+ in Math and 800 in French.
@NavalTradition I’ve been trying to work on my CommonApp essay but am suffering from a severe case of writer’s block >.< Any tips on how to get started on the writing process?
@WhartonPenn2017 What’s the experience at UPenn like?
