SAT scores from each section..??

Three questions.

1) I was wondering if the following schools were going to only look at CR+M section scores for this year or if they were to look at the overall scores. Also, what would seem like the overall score for the average applicant?

-UPenn
-Cornell
-Brown
-Northwestern
-Emory
-Rice
-Duke

2) Do you know if the schools above usually take your best overall scores from CR, M, and W, or do they take the highest score from a test date?

3) Would it be an ok plan to concentrate majorly on my CR section only if I think I had done decently on M and W sections already? Also, what if I had 600 CR, 680 W, 700 M, and concentrated only on my CR and got a score something like.. 650 CR, 680 W, and 650 M? Then would the admission officers look unfavorably at the significantly dropped scores?

Thanks!

bummmmmmmp!!!

well, since you've got some heavy hitters in that list, it's safe to assume that those schools required SAT IIs before the new SAT, and that one of those SAT IIs would have to be writing.

Therefore, itis logical to assume that those schools would look at the SAT I Writing.

I think they would generally take the highest from each section, I know that cornell, Princeton, and JHU all do. If they didn't, I'd be screwed lol

about your third question, I don't know, but those adcoms still would look at your highest score on each section
