SAT Scores- Indian Aspirants

Each college - $ 10 ( for sending additional reports )
and then $ 29 to rush the scores. You just pay the rush fee once. not for all colleges IMO.

I dunno if the rest of my application is strong or not; I wouldn’t be the most accurate judge. I am aware of the 1500+ thing. Like most people in our country, I’m gunning the ivies, and I am fully aware of my chances (or the lack of them). I’ve EDed at Cornell with a 1450 CR+M (my last attempt) only because I’m a legacy, and with slim hopes at that. The 800 in my four SAT IIs dont help either.

Plus, I’ve gone through numerous decisions threads and well… the ones with a 2250-2300 who HAVE got in usually have a 750+ in CR. That’s nearly impossible for me. I’m pretty skeptical about my chances still.

680 is good enough man.

Legacy? Did your parents or grandparents attend cornell? Are you indian?

Oh yeah. 680 was on my first attempt. On my second attempt, that dropped to a 610. The colleges that want all scores get to see that as well. Major bummer.

Yeah, legacy is defined as someone who got a degree from a certain college, and my father has an Executive MBA degree from Cornell. I am indeed Indian, despite nearly a decade in America. I dont think being a legacy is a major boost, but some beg to differ. Add to that the excessive number of qualified ED applicants from the country.
