SAT Scores Intoxicated

Everyone around this site is asking: "Will the college receive my SAT scores on time ?"

Answers: Its takes them 3-4 weeks...etc.

Stick with me:

As far as receiving scores online for students it takes 19 days. But before this, collegeboard asks you to use Score Choice, where one chooses what colleges they want their scores sent to. It says (link provided below) that the colleges will receive those scores the same day you receive them electronically:

SAT Scores - View SAT Scores - Send Score Reports

Now, I GUESS students don't use Score Choice because they do not know what their scores WILL BE, since you have to list your college choices before you even receive the scores. Because automatically you and your college choice will receive them the same day (if you use Score Choice)????

Ok, separately from using Score Choice and paying to send them individually...I guess it makes sense why it would take 3-4 weeks or what not.

I'M I RIGHT ????? HELP.

Replying to my own thread, I found this in their website:

“Why should I use my registration score reports if I can’t see my scores?”

Using the registration score reports ensures that test scores are sent to colleges at the earliest possible moment. Colleges use standardized test scores for admissions as well as scholarship awards, course placement or selection to a specific program or major. Sending registration scores ensures that colleges have the most complete set of your information for use in these review processes.

Informative, but anyone care to have a say ???
