<p>not that high. I did very bad on my SAT, but still got into UC system. I would say all you need is a 1700</p>
<p>are you sure? Have you even notice how selective all the UC have become? Maybe with the exception of UCR. May be other factors play in to not only SAT score</p>

<p>I've known of people this year who got in with 1700-1800, but their GPAs were > 3.5.</p>
<p>But is it safe to say that you generally need > 2000 to be "comfortable."</p>
<p>My GPA is poor...(3.0-3.1), so I think I need to do really well on the SATs to have at least a shot at some schools.</p>
