You need a GPA, since some schools do not consider SAT scores from transfer students. You also have to be in good standing at your current school in India meaning you have maintained a minimum GPA there if required.
Seems counter-intuative to void SAT scores from international students, especially since they are weighted more strongly for kids that have unusual backgrounds (homeschooling, etc.)
A transfer student has been doing college level work for one or two years so their grades will are more meaningful than an exam meant for high school students.
