SAT scores question

I got 2110 on SAT 1 ( 620 on CR)

and got 670, 700 on U.S and Math SAT2s

should I retake SAT1 and get higher CR score? or retake sat2s?

my two cents....CR is a new element of the SATs and adm.officers may not be so inclined to weight that as much as strong SAT2s....where do you think you will get the biggest bump by retaking them? If you are a senior, you might want to focus your time and energy into your application and essays...

I believe "CR" refers to critical reading, not writing. For many colleges, especially the ivies, CR is the most important section because of the amount of written and oral communication that is required in college. Anyways, although though your 670 is probably sufficient, its in Cornell's range, if you think you can raise it above 700 you should definitely retake it. Same goes for your SAT II's because frankly, they're good, but not that good. So if you think you can raise them retake them (although i wouldn't retake US History because it would probably take a lot of studying to do so as its more knowlege based than math).
