Hey, this was my first time taking the SAT. I am very anxious to see what I scored, but no matter what I get I am taking it again in June; but this time I will have already heavily invested my time in preparing to get an excellent score. Anyway, tomorrow is the big day, tomorrow can determine whether or not your are going into your dream college or tomorrow can be a motivator, to increase your scores. Just letting you know that I am another person like you, that their dream college is on the line tomorrow (Well I can just take it again, but, I am just saying). Please post your scores here, if you are comfortable, and we can compare and exchange tips and ideas to what we can do to increase the scores. Thanks. -Jon

The CR curve better not suck.

I know exactly how you feel… Even though I’m a sophomore, and could essentially retake it ad infinitum, I’m still exceptionally anxious/nervous/kinda excited to see how I did. If I did well (e.g. 2350+) then I won’t be taking it again and don’t have to worry about it and can relax and casually help my friends out all through junior and early senior year.

CR curve will be middle of the road, methinks.

Good luck everyone, and don’t pass out holding your breath 9h 30m

Kids in my school said the May CR was ridiculously easy so I don’t see the curve being any less harsh than Jan (-2 790).

I can’t wait. Hopefully it’s above a 2300. I was aiming for a 2400.

Hope mine is above a 2000. Hope to see a smiling face in the morning :P.

i agree with elgecko… i am a sophomore also… and i didn’t do so hot this time. didn’t really care this time but i think i might get really mad if i don’t get higher than a 2150.

People always say the SAT is easy, and then see their grades and wonder what happened. I just wait for the score to tell the tale.

i am nervous as well…this is my second time taking the SAT and i am hoping for an improvement of 100+ points. i think i’ll try to go to bed then set an alarm for around 4:45. ah! good luck to all!

Because this title does not indicate the year (such is helpful for future searches), I have created a new thread: <a href=“May 2010 SAT Results Thread - SAT Preparation - College Confidential Forums”>May 2010 SAT Results Thread - SAT Preparation - College Confidential Forums;

Kalookakoo I agree completely. In my school so many people claim every standardized test easy, yet the results fail to live up to such claims.

^

yeah. it’s one of those nod and smile kind of moments. Let them bask in their glory for now…

Virtually every student in my school’s top 5% has a score over 2300. I trust their judgment.

^

I don’t know many schools like yours. Where I live, a 2300+ is rare to come by, few achieve such a goal. Our valedictorian scored a 2100-2200ish SAT score, and everyone was in awe.

I think this is one of the reasons I place CC outside of reality. I just can’t visualize it…

^ It’s good to remember that CC is far from the norm lol.

and CC is the place you feel you are below average and you should shut down the computer untill you get a 2400

hope I get a 2300… I really worked hard

At my school this year out of 530 students 62 were national merit and i am sure even more kids studied for the SAT so it doesn’t seem very rare to see scores 2200+

This is the top 15% of the graduating class last year:

There’s another thread on this… it’s now duplicated :)
