SAT scores vs ACT scores

Hi! I was wondering if it is possible for your SAT scores to hurt you if your ACT scores are much higher (ex: 1250 SAT and 32 ACT) Do the admissions officers take the higher of the two tests or use both? Thanks! (sorry if this has been asked before, but I didn't see it anywhere!)

oh yea i had a question about that.....is it possible if you could only send ur ACT scores and like not at all send SAT scores?

Just send the ACT. The ACT and SAT are completely different. You choose which to send. For the ACT, you can send your highest one. You pay like 8 bucks for every test you want to be sent. Otherwise, they will never know how many times you have taken it, nor if you have taken both the SAT and ACT.

We recommend that applicants submit all scores on the SAT, SAT II subject exams, and ACT that they have taken. Let the Admissions Committee select which exams and scores to focus on. We will always take your highest scores, and yes we will take the higher of the ACT v. SAT (we have a comparison chart).
