SAT scores went through?

On the collegeboard website it says that all of my scores were sent on December 19th and under scores sent it lists my SAT II scores as well. My question is, how did the SAT II scores get sent when they came out on the 21st? Did they just send my SAT I scores on the 19th and then send my SAT II scores as soon as they became available? This was with the 4 free score reports btw...

Edit: Also, I took 3 SAT IIs and paid for only 2 of them, when are they going to bill me?

Your best bet would be calling College Board just to be sure.

They always send SAT’s before the day they are released, that’s why it sucks because you can’t see your scores ahead of time.

They sent all your scores on the same day. Just because they’re released at 530 on Tuesday the whatever doesn’t mean that it’s been graded 10 minutes prior. They have them assembled quite a few days ahead of time.

As far as the billing goes, I agree with UVAorBust, you should call and inquire.

okay thanks guys will call them first thing in the morning…if they didnt go through i guess im screwed eh? or do they lenient with when SAT scores arrive?

happy new year! (almost)

Yousaf - you can submit your application tommorow. Tonight isn’t the deadline. All stuff has to be sent out by tommorow night at 11:59

Not exactly…

[Notes from Peabody: The UVA Application Process: Happy Deadline Day!](Notes from Peabody: The UVA Application Process: Happy Deadline Day!)

UVAorBust, I know others have mentioned this, but haven’t you turned on spell check in your internet browser by now? All communication is important communication. As a senior in high school, you should already be in the habit of using proper spelling and grammar. Maybe there’s a New Year’s resolution in there for you. :)

I’m not saying I haven’t made errors while writing online, but I try to check my words before I hit submit.

Agreed Dean J,

I’ve been trying to use some new vocab in my writing lately, but my spelling is definitely lacking to say the least. My dad is dyslexic and I think I have a minor case because I ALWAYS switch up letters in words. I’ll continue working on my spelling and vocab, because I know poor writing is not acceptable in college.

Happy New Year Everyone!!!

Good Luck Completing All Your Applications Tonight!

“tomorrow” is new vocab?

Thanks guillaume…

I’m going to go to the doctor and see if I have dyslexia because I honestly think I do. My spelling is atrocious but I am a great writer (well at least I think so - no I’m not trying to be cocky). If anyone wants to read my essays I would gladly let them.

Also I thought this was the only song appropriate for the occasion:
[YouTube - The Final Countdown - Europe (with lyrics)](<a href=“- YouTube”>- YouTube)
While we’re at it, I think this song fits as well:
[Journey - Don’t Stop Believing](<a href=“- YouTube”>- YouTube)

PS - I was thinking of making a thread where applicants this year can post their essays. I thought it would be a fun thing to do. Anyone else like this idea?

Absolutely not. Do not post your essays. You have no control over who reads them and they can (will?) be lifted.

FWIW, I had both of those albums on vinyl. Thinking about it, you all have probably only owned CDs, right? :)

Thanks for the help. I sent my scores again just to make sure they get there since I couldn’t call the office and check if my last attempt worked. Newbish question: if I send my scores out today, do they still accept them? Is the Jan. 1st deadline based on when the order was placed or when the scores need to arrive at the admissions office itself?

If the College Board site says they were sent on a specific date they were sent. I do not think you needed to send them again. Some colleges are specific that scores need to be there by a certain date and others are a little more lenient with them being received by January 10-15.

Please do not spend more money sending duplicates! There is no need to do this unless you are contacted directly by a school asking for them.
